Our West End self-catering apartment is situated in Atholl Crescent Lane just minutes walk from the city centre and transport links to the airport and railway station and so it is ideally located for any visitors looking to be close to the city centre and financial district.

Situated within easy walking distance of the city centre and transport links this apartment is ideal for those wanting to experience Edinburgh’s city centre but who don’t want to travel far at the end of a busy day.

Renovated in January 2019 the apartment has oak flooring throughout the lounge, bedroom and hallway, a separate bathroom with shower over the bath and a kitchen area off the lounge.  The apartment is on the ground floor with main door access to the street.

The lounge has a 3 seater sofa that folds out to a queen-size sofabed, has high-speed WiFi, a 40in flat-screen TV with access to Netflix and other streaming services.  The dining area has a round glass table with 2 leather chairs and 2 folding chairs for extra guests

The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated fridge freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, microwave kettle, toaster.  Stocked with crockery, cutlery and glasses for 4 as well as cookware and utensils.  The kitchen is also equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, carbon monoxide alarm and smoke alarms throughout.

There is a Sainsbury’s supermarket (open 6.00am to 11.00pm daily) and an ATM in Shandwick Place which is just 1 minute from the apartment.

Transport links are excellent with the Airport tram stop and Number 100 Airlink bus stop are just 2 minutes walk away in Shandwick Place and Haymarket Train station is just 5 minutes walk away.

If you’d like to convenience of staying the centre of our beautiful city, with many of the city’s tourist attractions, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk.  Then this apartment will be right for you.

Two minutes walk:

Princes Street and the Gardens – Wonderful skyline view of the Old Town and Edinburgh Castle and “The Mound” with access to the Old Town. The newly refurbished Portrait Gallery is not to be missed.

Lothian Road – Is home to a wide variety of restaurants and bars including Innis&Gunn’s Brewery Taproom, BrewDog, Nandos, Wagamama and Wetherspoons to name but a few.  The Usher Hall, The Lyceum and Traverse Theatres are also located here.

George Street & Rose Street – With its many upmarket shops, bars and restaurants.

Ten Minutes Walk:

Edinburgh Castle – Edinburgh’s iconic centrepiece. There is lots to see and do at Edinburgh Castle so plan at least half a day to get around it all.  Attractions include The Royal Palace, The Scottish Crown Jewels, Mons Meg, The Stone of Destiny, The Scottish National War memorial and much more.  The top attractions is the firing of the One o’clock gun each day.

The Scottish National Gallery – Situated at the foot of the Mound the Scottish National Gallery displays some of the greatest art in the world, including masterpieces by Botticelli, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Constable, Turner, Monet, Van Gogh and Gauguin, amongst many others.

The Water Of Leith – Fed from the Pentland Hils the Water of Leith runs through the city from the South West to the Port of Leith.  Accessed from the Dean Village The Water of Leith walkway provides an escape from the city and allows visitors to experience Edinburgh’s hidden natural assets.

The prices quoted are based on 2 people sharing.  The apartment has a sofa bed in the lounge so can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children.  For more than 2 people there will be an additional charge.

If guests are staying for longer than one week, we will provide a change of linen, towels and a thorough clean of the apartment included in the price.

We encourage careful use of services (Gas and Electricity).  Included in the prices is an allowance for services, any usage above this allowance may be charged after departure at a standard no profit rate.

Deposit:

A deposit of the first nights rental will be taken on confirmation of booking. The balance will be taken 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that all or part of a booking is cancelled the following will apply:

Cancellation made after the booking is confirmed, the full deposit will be charged.

Cancellation within 30 days prior to arrival 100% of the full price will be charged.

We strongly advise that you arrange travel insurance in case of cancellation.

Additional charges.

Extra cleaning – Guests are asked to leave the apartment in a clean condition, remove rubbish and leave the place tidy. If, after departure, we have to spend additional time cleaning or laundering we will levy an additional charge commensurate with the time and costs involved.

Damages – A charge will be levied for any damage to the property, items within the apartment, linen or towels.

Services – Usage in excess of the allowed rate may be charged at a standard non-profit meter rate after departure.

This is a main door 1-bedroom apartment with an entrance hallway, lounge, with kitchen and bedroom off the lounge and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.  Situated on the ground floor of 1980s development access is directly onto the street with 1 step up from the pavement. Located on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from the city centre and the tram and bus stop to the airport, it is the perfect place for anyone looking for a quiet location in the city centre.   Please contact us to discuss any requirements you may have.  This is a non-smoking apartment.
